CNC Machining

The machines listed below are set up to run small quantity chucking work, as well as high volume repetitive components.

All the CNC Lathes have bar feeders attached for unmanned machining.

Multi Spindle Lathes

2 x Multi Axis machines – 51mm spindle bore, twin spindle, multi-turret lathes (with milling capabilities).

1 x Twin Spindle Machine – 80mm spindle bore, twin spindle, single-turret lathe (with milling capabilities).

2 Axis Lathes

7 x 2 Axis Lathes – Up to 76mm bar capacity, single spindle.

Laser cutting

Laser cutting is available, we cover a wide range of possibilites. We cut flat sheet products such as mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, acrylic and MDF to your requirments.

Also available is the Bystronic machine that is capable of cutting contours in pipe, tube and RHS.

We quote all jobs to include material supply unless otherwise specified.

Laser Cutting Materials used and maximum thickness that can be cut:

  • Mild Steel up to 25mm
  • Bisalloy up to 12mm thick
  • Stainless Steel up tp 16mm thick
  • Aluminium 5005 grade up to 10mm thick
  • Aluminium 5083 grade up to 10mm thick
  • Acrylic up to 20mm thick
  • MDF up to 20mm thick
  • Laser bed size 1500mm x 3000mm

Assemblies

Assemblies

Ekul Engineering has the capacity to cut, either laser cut or guillotine, fold, drill, tap and weld.

The manufacture of the assemblies are from either mild steel or stainless steel.

We are able to manufacture "gigs" to aid in assembly work.

Electro plating

Plating services offered are Yellow Passivate (gold finish) and Blue Passivate (silver finish).

Capacitys of baths 2.8m x 1.35m x 0.9m.

Total Weight Capacity 350kg lift.

Chrome plating

Chrome plating

We offer a full chrome plating service. We can polish before chrome platting to offer a flawless finish.

Hard Chroming and grinding is available.

The thickness of the coating can be done to Australian standards or to your specific requirements.

Tank capacity 2200 wide x 900 deep x 500 wide.

Maximum load per job is up to 200kg. This can be one part or numerious parts.

Powder coating

Powder coating is sometimes referred to as dry painting. The powder is applied with a spray gun and then put through an oven to bake. The end result is a tough, hard and durable finish.

Powder Coating is used by a wide variety of industries to achieve a surface coating on mainly metal components or products.

Traditional finishes are either a matt, satin or gloss finish. However, today you can also choose from ripple and textured finishes. Many colors are available.
